Mario Giuliacci

Meteorologist and Climatologist

Hailing from Città della Pieve in the province of Perugia, Mario obtained his degree in Physics in Rome and then entered the Air Force.

From 1983 to1990, with the level of Colonel, he directed the Centro Meteorologico di Milano Linate, the principal meteorological arm of the Air Force in northern Italy.

A professor of the Physics of the Atmosphere course at the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca, in 1995 Mario also contributed to the founding of the Centro Epson Meteo.

From 1992 to 2010 he was in charge of the weather section of Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport, and from 1995 to 2010 he broadcasted the weather report on Mediaset. Since 2005 he has been in charge of the weather section for Dipiù TV magazine, and from 2008 to 2010 participated in the Mattino Cinque program.

He has published numerous books on meteorology, among which “Manuale di Meteorologia”, “Prevedere il tempo con Internet” and “Dottore, mi fa male il tempo!”.
