Walter Lo Faro

Senior Director Market Management Expedia, Southern Europe

Walter has twenty years of experience in the tourism industry. In his current role as Senior Director for Southern Europe at Expedia he is responsible for the teams that manage Italy, Spain and Portugal and those that work with hotel partners; he is also in charge of managing marketing strategies with different brands of the Expedia group.

Prior to his current post, Lo Faro worked in Dubai for five years where he opened and managed the Expedia offices for the Middle East and the Indian Ocean; he was also the director for Expedia London and Scandinavia.

In the past, Walter worked for the TUI Group in various sales roles, revenue and commercial management, where he specialized in various Mediterranean destinations.
