A very hot subject that deeply concerns tourism trade operators and involves the concepts of promotion and special offer: Social Commerce, or Groupon and others.
9. SUSTAINABLE TOURISM
The delicate balance between development and sustainability – the new values people attribute to the word “sustainability”: a survey on a subject that BTO Educational and Fondazione Sistema Toscana have covered in various recent events.
10. TERRITORIAL GOVERNANCE & MARKETING
BTO – Buy Tourism Online continues the analysis of the measures adopted by local governing bodies to promote their regions: an excursus among Short-sighted Snipers and good ideas in the 2.0 era in a period in which resources are scarce.
11. TRAVEL WEB MARKENTING
Good practices, suggestions, what to do to improve one’s visibility on the web and how to transform a visit to one’s website into a meeting between demand and supply: not only search engine positioning; an introduction to other techniques for attracting an increasingly number of people towards one’s products and services in the Social Network era.

The scientific program will be progressively developed around the previously mentioned subjects, which will be debated in the Main Stage – with interviews to people working in the field, representatives of leading companies, presentations and debates with the audience – and in training sessions, following a well-established formula that makes BTO – Buy Tourism Online an unmissable event for those interested in the world of travel.
