Well then, if you wish you can contribute [for free…] to the making of a report about what happened during BTO – Buy Tourism Online: the objective of BTO Educational is that of immediately defining the themes in need of research development during 2012, taking as a model the contents of the 11 Subjects in debate at the Stazione Leopolda and what we’re offering you is to promote yourself in a kind of e-book that enumerates all the points that we deem relevant.

We thought of moving along these lines for the BTO Educational research, departing from 4-5 macro-themes:

Smart Cities, the key to tourist attractions

In particular, the role of regional governance in better rendering the travel experience of that destination.

Trust, the basis for understanding the new travel models such as Couchsurfing and how these are only the first visible signals of a malaise towards the standardization of hospitality offerings.

In a scenario in which not only the traveler travels, but also he who hosts is traveling with him.

Dream, wherein people design their travels

An analysis that serves to understand the anthropological and cultural roots that influences their choice of destination and forms the expectations of those who travel. We’re thinking above all of those countries that, thanks to the dynamics of social mobility, have access to the possibility of having time and money for doing new things, such as traveling. The BRIC countries, for example.

Reputation meets Relevance, taking the cue [from stars to stalls] from Paolo Iabichino aka IABicus.

If you wish, you can contribute: write to Robert, do not try telephoning.
