Alberto Peruzzini

Head of Tourism Toscana Promozione

Originally from Pesaro, he obtained his degree in Political Science at the Università di Bologna. He was the project manager of the Circuito città d’arte della Pianura Padana, and then became the Director of the Prato APT in 2000. Alberto considers himself an adopted “Prato-ite” and gives himself over in particular to his job of developing tourism in the province of Prato, an important phenomenon in recent years.

Since 2010 he has been covering the position of Head of Tourism for Toscana Promozione.

The attention given to the flow of tourism coming from BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India and China) is noteworthy; the agency is creating a tourism promotion project that aims to increase awareness, on the part of the principal Indian tourism operators, of the region’s tourism assets and to see to it that this is always increasingly present in the various channels of commercialization.
